Construction & Destruction is easily the best band in Canada, hands down.

Right now it’s Pillar of Stone by Construction & Destruction.

The red drum sticks and the brown bass drum.
Proudest moment:
When we ramped the van over that fiery chasm in the desert.
Most vulnerable moment:
Lighting the fire that opened the chasm.
If you could score a film for anyone, who would it be and why:
It would be an honour to score films for Kim Gordon, if she made films. Imagine that?! Oh ho ho!
Your favourite use of a song in a film:
I don’t know about favourite, but hearing Leonard Cohen’s ‘Everybody Knows’ in Pump Up The Volume felt pretty powerful at the time.
Are you most influenced by your surroundings or your inner monologue:
They are the same thing.

The planet bakery in Peterborough, a total disaster and a total delight. & the trinity in Sarnia

I don’t remember the first, I bought a lot when I was young, indiscriminately. But a favourite was Change Of Heart.

Construction & Destruction.

Manu Dibango, “O Boso” mentioned above.
If for some reason you lost the ability to make and play music, what would fill that gap?
We’d make mix tapes and play them really loud in the van.
What was your last dream about:
Today in the car I dreamt I was trying to pull a red ribbon out of a cardboard tube, I woke up in Virginia.
